He fucked up so badly but for some reason years later & even being with other people you havent forgotten him no matter how much you’ve let him go he keeps popping up. You care about him but you care about you more. You don’t want to look stupid. You don’t want it to hurt your heart like it did the first time, you don’t think you could go through that again, but he’s the one you want the good the bad and the shitty. He’s the one you want in your life. Yeah, at this point you sound a little (maybe the word would be) desperate or even maybe pathetic, but you’ve seen people do this and feel this way and keep going for the thing they want so as desperate or pathetic as it may seem try it nobody ever said you had to succeed but if you try you or nobody else can ever say you never tried.
